Shangri La Resort

So I have not stayed at Resort but the Cafe has the best cream pies and Fruit pie apple/ cherry/ blueberry/ Banana Cream Pie/ Coconut cream/ Lemon and also have great Dinner 🍽️ ❤️

Worst food ever. c- class run kitchen. ribs were boiled beyond tasteless with a titch of bbq sauce on one side. Burgers were thin and again tasteless, careless, cheap c class normal worst than your basic house burger. Don’t waste time or money on this once iconic joint.

Had the chicken fried steak, fried okra, onion rings and of course the PIE. I got the last slice of butterscotch. We really enjoyed our meal and got some insider info on ordering pie early. Service with a smile and friendly chat. We will be back!

I can only rate this place based on how the grounds looked. We didn't stay here but we did do some fishing, which I appreciate them letting us do that even though we didn't stay. It has a great location, the grounds were nicely maintained as well. They do have a small restaurant there also. If we're ever back in the area we may consider staying, especially considering how excessive the ant population is in the campground we stayed at.

Wonderful place! Like stepping back in time! Not commercialized like most motels these days! motel was clean,comfortable! Nothing fancy just good ol’ mom and pop feel! Beautiful view of the lake and sunrise over the Arkansas mountains! The little cafe is amazing! Thank you for hanging on to the good ol’ days!! Will stay again!! Thanks again!
