We stayed here for a few nights recently and thought it was a lovely campground. It was clean, the roads were paved and the sites were either concrete slab or gravel (yay for no mud)! The views from the park and pavilion were great. It stormed pretty badly one night and we lost power but it kicked back on overnight. There are tons of trees so it is in fact very shady. It’s a short walk or bike ride to the playground and pavilion, a nice spot to enjoy lunch.
We like this area with power and water (no sewer) because of the trees, and it's very quiet on weekdays. Peaceful.
The staff at the check in center are so friendly and helpful and the campground is absolutely beautiful!
