Shades of Sherwood

We had a great first stay at the campground! Staff was friendly and so were the campers. Plenty of things to do for all ages. We floated down the river and swam at the lagoon. Kids enjoyed the jumping balloon and going for a walk around the campground. The seasonal campers were friendly. I would go again and if you're looking for a nice campground this is one of them.

It’s our second year coming here and In general we had a lot of fun and the kids enjoyed a lot , but Maintenance in the facilities are up so date. showers and bathrooms have ceiling falling ( last year they were the same),and one shower was not working( got our coins). The pond has a big rock in the bottom under the big inflatable were the people jump in, 2 of our crew gutted the rock with their feet, it’s a hazard. One our kids got a lichen in their skin and saw a turtle swimming in the pond. Almost every single chair in the pond was broken and we couldn’t use. Would be nice if you are staying in the campground and all the activities are included in the price, $17 for daily/person to use the pool and pond for someone is paying to stay there it’s too much. That added $65 dollars/day in our

My family has been coming here for years and it has always been a good time. We love the man made beach and the friendly environment that shades has to offer. My kids are very active and have never complained about not having anything to do. I would recommend anyone to camp for the weekend. Thanks david for your service with a smile. Cabins are really moldy. The air conditioning unit in cabin 4 was coated in mold. The floor is spongey in places and there is mold in the bathroom. The cabins my siblings stayed in seemed about the same. In much need of updating and remediation!||The pool was nice. The pond was freaky and full of tadpoles but kids don't seem to care about that. The tubing down the river was fun. I enjoyed my stay but mostly because I was with family. Wouldn't pay that much to stay in a moldy cabin again.

Soo much to do, kind and courteous staff, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day adventure -Swimming, Jumping, Tubing, Waterpark-The Pond, Racers, Wagon Rides and people in the campground!! Even with rain, still did everything every day and lived in swimsuits mainly. FUN TIMES!!
