Americas Best Value Inn Zumbrota

Well it's a nice place to stay at especially when you have your furbaby pet's with you, they are all welcome here Cat's and Dog's!! The staff here, are all very nice and friendly and Polite also. And still staying at this hotel lol 😂

It’s not fancy. It’s not new. It doesn’t have breakfast. But it was comfy, there were sufficient pillows. Microwave, fridge, TV, coffee maker, chair hassock…It was fine. Reasonably priced too. The only slight negative could be for some, would be road noise.

Positive: The bed Negative: The owner was very rude and always watching you. Felt like I was a criminal. His family and kids live there as well. So the kids were out running around in the hallways. Addextra days and he made you go and activate the card again. The phone didn't work.

Wasn’t expecting a lot for cheap rooms but we left a day sooner because the beds were hard, pillows were not comfortable and the bathroom had what looked like mold just painted over it and a large bubble in the paint. Receptionist was very nice but not worth it to stay here. Also ac /heating unit sounded like our dog scratching on the floor at night every time it kicked on.

Pros - Rooms didn't have bugs nor mice. Beds were made when we got there. Stayed warm and dry at night. $114 for 2 nights (over labor day weekend). TV was good, but had a black line going down the middle. Hot water was plentiful and had good water pressure. Bathroom had been updated with new floor, toilet and sink. Microwave and fridge were new and worked well. Had a good size freezer to refreeze ice packs. Cons - beds were hard. Pretty sure there was a bowling alley on the floor above us. Internet worked sometimes. Continental breakfast was poor (not much coffee, juice, toast and cereal was all that was provided. Got what we paid for. Overall was happy with what we paid for.
