Settlin' In RV Park

We are spending our winter here, have been here for 2 months now, the park is all gravel with wide roads, has plenty of sites, our site is 25x70 back in, they do have pull through sites, unfortunately no furnished picnic tables on sites, office personal are fantastic, showers are clean, laundry room is well maintained, if your staying more than a couple of weeks, your required to fill out a bunch of paperwork for a background ck, credit check other things, I've noticed most of the campers here are permanent residents, they allow dog fencing on sites, very reasonable prices compared to other campgrounds in the area, (their sites are much smaller) every campground has to have some type of an issue, this park does have one, the campground is right off the main road that takes you to and from

This is a big park for this area! At least 200 spots. Plenty of Desert to roam. Dogs allowed there is a small dog park with running water and washing tub with hose. (watch for the sticker plants and their paws). Age of camper not a concern. Park employees nice, laundy good, coin machines available on site. Wifi isnt crazy fast but its working. 2 sites avaialable to dump trash. Its not 55+ as the sign indicates but a lot of the residents are older. Its quiet and well maintained if you ignore the highway sounds. 2 ways to enter the park. You can take Egar to Mahone and come in the back way once settled.

I literally would have given 5 stars, the service is outstanding for the price paid, there is a laundry room with change machine, it’s always clean, you can use it 24 hours. The showers are hot, clean and secure. The bathrooms are decent. There is free WiFi, a library, complimentary Billards table, day room, dog park, and even beautiful sunsets. The only problem we had is extreme damage done by a cat. A seat destroyed in our Polaris, an rg-6 cable, a cat-5 cable and our zero g chairs destroyed, by a cat, the park gave us a live trap we put it under our trailer and someone literally crawled under our trailer and took the bait out. Bob the manager is very kind and helpful. Lots of room for your pull through. Boats and extra vehicles are at no charge. Riding trails as far as the eye can see and further. Very quiet and extremely friendly people.

Stayed here for 4 days at $33 per day. The sign shows 55+ but we saw many young people living here. This is a gravel parking lot with over 200 pedestals. The mass majority of the residents are long term. The office, laundry and showers looked new and well cared for. The electric, sewer and water worked as required. The water was between 35 and 40 PSI. The WiFi was poor, never above 850 Kbps. The speed limit of 10 MPH was never followed making for lots of dust. Barking dogs and ugly looking sites is the norm but we never felt concerned for our safety. The park is less then 30 minutes from Kingman. I would stay again but only over night.
