Black Mountain RV Park

This is the wrong location. The RV parked is a few miles west, towards Oatman.

This is a very strange place. It's the closest RV park to Oatman, Arizona and that's the only reason we stayed there. There is no staff on location. You fill out a form, put in your $35 and slip it through a drop box. There are bathrooms and showers as well as laundry facilities but the showers are $2.50 and EVERYRHING is locked. If you call the owner who is not on site, they will come and unlock the door. It's very primitive with nothing near it for many miles. No store of vending machines. While Oatman is only 8 miles away, it's at least a 30 minute drive through twisty mountain roads. Pretty seedy overall. If there is no other option, it will work in a pinch.

I wish I could give this place infinity stars. Me and my fiancé stayed hear during the summer and we're takin in by the owners like family. The park is in a beautiful location and the facilities are wonderful and clean. The sunsets in this area will break your heart. Richard and his family really go over and above to provide a nice place to stay. More than reasonable rates, quite , no druggies or any need to worry about people ripping you off. We had to move back to the San Francisco Bay Area for work reasons but plan on returning. This place is magical and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a upscale park with out the upscale price. Far enough away from town for country living but town just 15-20min away. My grandparents built this RV Park from the ground up. They truly have put their heart and soul into this camp ground to make it a nice quiet place for people to stay. They try to take excellent care of their guests and even sometimes provide holiday events for people staying. If you happen to come across here and can’t seem to find them to check in, there’s a little pink home at the back of the RV Park. You’ll find them there and they’ll be happy to help you. Even if they’re not there, you’re welcome to park your RV in an empty slot and I’m sure they’ll be there soon to greet you.
