Serene Vegas Boutique Hotel

Positive: I liked that security was always around. The staff was friendly and took care of issues. Negative: The sliding glass door was not locked when we arrived. We could not get it to lock. The security guard did get it to lock on the second night. But being in a new city, not knowing the area I did not feel comfortable sleeping with the door unlocked.

This place is a gem both for the location and obviously the price. The room is spacious and comfortable which I have nothing to complain about. Breakfast not vegan friendly is “free” if you pay in advance but the orange juice in the free breakfast cost $3.50. Coffee and tea, cold/ hot water is served 24h which is GREAT but when I asked for a glass so I could warm up my oat milk I brought myself I was served a plastic cup which I prefer not to use. It’s a non smoking hotel which is great but unfortunately during my week stay I was woken up twice in the middle of the night with the alarm going off because some stupid guest were probably smoking indoors. The overwhelming majority of the reviews that I leave are positive. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews or opening disputes, but this experience left me with no choice. My wife booked Serene for a three-night stay (intended as a relaxing reset). Due to a delayed flight, she didn’t arrive until close to 5:00 a.m.. Within minutes of entering the room, it was obvious this was not going to be a comfortable or acceptable stay. There were three major issues immediately: 1. The room was freezing and the heat was not working 2. There was a bug on the bed 3. The soundproofing was so poor that she could hear everything from the next room at 7 a.m., making it extremely noisy and impossible to rest Because of the conditions, she was not comfortable getting into the bed. Slider door to balcony didn’t work so we never got to use it, lights on balcony didn’t work either so it was dark, toilet water wouldn’t flush unless we hold the latch the whole time, parking was so so to find. We had to walk thru lobby , pass the pool & court yard to get to our room and it was dark. Scary at night, worst of all was the plane flew almost every minutes and they were LOUD. The room itself was nice & decent size. No microwave either. Tv & AC remotes sometimes doesn’t work The only good thing was we can walk across the street to the Virgin hotel casino

Great staff, Eric provided great service and had me checked in very easy, and gave me details about the hotel, hotel breakfast and my room! The breakfast is very convenient when you need to chow in the morning or take something on the go, the kitchen and staff was very friendly and the food always came out fresh and hot, it’s $10 dollars but it’s worth it! My room was spacious & comfortable with a work space plus extra furniture to relax, i had a large balcony with a view of the entire pool. Everything was clean and room service was professional! This is a convenient location close to Las Vegas Blvd
