Seaside

Rooms were nice enough; however bathrooms were dated and somewhat dingy. I used booking.com to reserve a two bedroom suite, but was informed by the hotel there was no trash pickup or housekeeping, not even supplies (toilet paper or linens) since I used third party booking. House rules were quite stringent, but the worst was the outdoor pool and hot tub was under renovation and was closed. I wasn’t told this until I checked in. I found that to be pretty upsetting. Overall the hotel was pretty good but I don’t think I’ll stay here again mostly due to their poor customer service. And because I used a third party for booking they couldn’t make any changes to my reservation or even offer housekeeping services!

This was not a good experience at all! Our family has been celebrating Thanksgiving at the beach for more than 20 yrs and each time we visit we pick a different location to stay. We will not be staying at this location again. Although the condo description reads "Oceanfront Condo w/ Balcony and Pool" we weren't able to use either. This corner unit had an amazing view that we felt we couldn't really enjoy. My biggest issue is the host failed to inform us that the balcony would be locked down and that there would be noisy renovations interrupting our sleep at 8:00am every morning. The failure to communicate these things seemed blatant to me as the host reached out several times prior to us arriving offering more opportunities to spend more money, like additional nights. Loved the outdoor & indoor pools and hot tub. Love the lazy river inside except it really needs to speed up a little. It was also inside. Very short walk to the beach. Nice to sit at the pool and be able to.see the beach. For the bad, it is really in need of an update! Furniture is awful - all beat up. Mattresses are very uncomfortable. Great location and lots of potential, but sure needs some TLC.

My husband and I booked a 2 bedroom condo at the Seaside this weekend for my birthday and our 31st anniversary through CAPITAL VACATIONS. The furniture in the room is very dated and old. The beds were uncomfortable and no blankets on the beds or extra blankets in the closets. The purpose of booking an oceanfront or ocean view is to be able to open the doors so you can enjoy the sound of the ocean; however, the balcony doors were blocked because they were preparing to paint the outside of the building. When the hallways weren't smelling like weed then they were smelling like sewage. This is the building that Capital shows during those long 15hr presentations. If this is the kind of places that are available to book, then I might as well figure out how to get out of this timeshare ri

This is our perfect home away from home. The housekeeping here is amazing. Theo is awesome. Trudy and Jackie are absolutely precious. They treat me like I’m their family. The rooms are beyond amazing and the price is fantastic!
