Seabrook Inn

Wasn’t too happy since there wasn’t any heat in the room. Really couldn’t enjoy much since the cold and I don’t get along. When we tried calling the front desk we weren’t able to since we were in room 108 and we had room 152 telephone in our room and there wasn’t any dial tone so we had to call on our cellphone. Front desk then told us it will take an hour for the heat to kick on to 80( which is outrageous) but I don’t think they’re aware it isn’t on for a long period of time because that heat wasn’t blowing hot air and I turned it all the way up past 80 . No towels to shower but I had hand towels. Check-in, the guys were very respectful and sweet, answered all my questions with grace! The Seabrook Inn is the cheapest place in the area. This is why we stayed there. The pool is great and the beds are comfy, but everything smells a bit musty. The carpets could / should be replaced, but again, this is the cheapest place to stay in the area. If you are looking for something clean and fancy or even mediocre, this isn’t it. If you just want a cheap place to sleep at night and you do not care about extras, this is it! The pool really is nice though! They also have a water slide for the kids and a wading pool for the really little ones!

Positive: It's proximity to the fishing boat we go out on. Negative: If there was we would not be coming back over the last 5 - 6 years!

This place was an utter disappointment, the floors were filthy with unexplainable stains, some were on the wall as well. The blow dryers in both of our rooms did not work whatsoever. In the middle of the night the smoke alarm battery died, and it continued to beep all throughout the night keeping us awake. The AC was old and barely pushed out any cold air even at max temperature. There was many stains in the bathtubs as well. The water in the shower was very finicky, the water was boiling hot at any temperature. Overall not a good experience. I would not recommend.

Looks nice from the outside but open the door to your room and you won't be happy. Cheap, old furniture from the bathroom sink to the bed. Walls are paper thin. Couldn't sleep because someone was watching TV til early hours of the morning. Only found two outlets, one in bathroom and one under the TV which was overloaded and coming away from the wall. Bathroom fan rattled loadly.Only good things I can say is it has picnic areas for families to eat outside and was easy to get a room. They told us they had 36 available. Now we know why. Hotel clerk, down right rude and argumentative. Don't stop here, pay the extra for another hotel.
