Sea Scape Inn

The room was freezing. It was during a cold spell for Florida in the 40s. The heat only blew out Cold and the door had a cracked so big you could see clear to the outside. Breeze coming through the room felt as if you might as well be standing on the beach. I would’ve been much warmer sleeping in my car and saving my money. You can push the deadbolt open from the outside with your finger. The floor wasn’t finished and there were broken pieces of tile everywhere. Bugs of all kinds roaches amongst others and the sink was stopped up.l asked for a better room or money back and was denied. Then I went and spent the day on the beach and came back to an empty parking lot and my car had been towed after the front desk said I could park it there. I’ve stayed here ten times in two years and it’

We couldn't stay in this place. As soon as we entered the room we left. This place is disgusting. Extremely dirty since the outside to the inside. The office smells like mariguana. That place hasn’t been cleaned for months or years. The toilet it’s broken, The toilet lid is just put on top, like it belongs to another toilet because it’s smaller. All furniture full of dust, fridge all rusty and the floor even with Doritos all over. The ceiling looks like it’s going to fall apart in top of your head. A total disaster. Places like that should not be open to the public.

I like this old Daytona shores spot. The location is super. A ton of good food choices in walking distance and a five minute drive gives access to everything Daytona has to offer. The building is old needs paint and plaster work, trims are rusted and needing replacement I he age and wear shows a bit but the new owners strive to offer a clean fun environment. Beach views from the balconies of the second And third floor very nice. Parking level accommodations at a very fair price point if you are on a budget and not worried about he view. One of maybe three locations I know of between 60 and 100 a night that are striving to maintain the proper atmosphere In the shores. Great beach access and pool. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

DO NOT STAY HERE! YOU WILL NOT BE SAFE! The only good things I can say about this property is that the location is great and they allow pets. We had a reservation for 3 nights. We only stayed 2! There was NOTHING good about the room! It was very dated, very musty & very dirty! The mattress we tried to sleep on needs to be thrown away!!!! The ceiling over the other mattress looked like it was ready to collapse! The TV didn't work because the electrical outlet didn't work which the maintenance guys discovered after bringing in the 3rd TV. The slider did not lock and you had to really fight to open and close it! The entry door was pitiful! It barely locked and the safety chain was missing. Right on Daytona Beach The room we got put in was truly disgusting and haphazard. There was rust, mold, and dust on the ceiling fan. The AC unit was broken, beds were itchy, and the dead bolt on the door did not lock. The bathroom sink was truly deplorable and we did not stay the second night that we originally booked. Rusty on parts of the outside as well as inside. The room we stayed in was poorly cleaned and haphazard before we even showed up. Truly a disgusting place
