Sea Horse Motel

Clean, ample but Spartan interior accommodations. The beds were a little firm for my taste, but that's subjective. There's a pool here, but since it's parallel to / facing the main avenue it's not relaxing: too much road noise. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. It's worth noting that this was the most reasonably priced accommodations, and it wasn't even close when compared to some of the others further down the road in Beach Haven. So if you're not looking to break the bank: this is a perfectly suitable option.

On our last night of a three night stay, we were awakened at 12:49am by a Fire/Carbon Monoxide alarm siren. We called the emergency phone number posted on the office door and were told by Elena the owner "it is probably a false alarm". Not the most reassuring answer when Carbon Monoxide can kill people, but we hoped for the best. At 5:45am the siren went off again, and this time I noticed water pouring in under the wall. We luckily were able to get all of our stuff out of the room before it got soaked. The owner arrived on the scene shortly thereafter and told us the pipe burst in the office next door to our room. Stayed for 3nights.. location to the beach is well within walking distance. Since it is "off season" not many places open in walking distance. Room was enough space. Walls are kinda thin, 1st night there we heard the next door guests fighting and arguing all night. I would suggest adding more towel racks, also maybe cushions on the chairs in the room. Only 2 pillows (given 2 more after asking) on bed, so either bring your own or make sure you ask for more. The housekeeping woman, owner and other staff were friendly and accommodating. All in all, we'd stay again.

Came for a quick weekend getaway. Rooms were clean and cozy! Our air conditioner did break but within less than an hour the owners arrived and put in a brand new unit! Staff is super friendly and helpful as well!!

Great place to stay! 1 block from the beach, and $5 beach access badges available. The room was very modern and clean. It felt more like a hotel than a motel. The pool was very convenient and refreshing when we didn’t want to go to the beach.
