Sea Esta Motel II

I went to this motel for my sister's wedding in late October. The bed was flea infested. They got me all over my body, over 40 bites everywhere: arms, legs, hands, feet, stomach, back, sides... it was so excessive I had to take a few days off work and school to be on some strong meds that made it bearable. The toilet kept filling up with sewage even when we flushed it and the outside of the hotel smelled like sewage. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to put the one ply toilet paper on the side of the tub if we didn't want it on the floor. The beds were super stiff and hard, and the pillows were thinner than any I've ever used in my life. They also started ripping off shingles and hammering them back on early in the morning. When we first came to check in, we were a little skeptical, but it was the most affordable option out of other motels, we came to meet online friends of 4+ years and it was amazing. Were from California, so were used to things not being right or way to expensive. The king size bed was comfortable, and the price for a pet is alot cheaper then normal places, and I appreciated that, since we brought our dog. The have a lovely front desk with coffee machines, the showers were nice and hot, it was very decent of a place to stay at and easy to get around. Granted the first three nights we had to deal with them replacing the roof, but after that it was quiet nontheless. The new roof looks amazing though. I really enjoyed my stay and so did my husband.

It is VERY outdated and the door jam appeared to have been damaged. The bathroom had carpet that was just damp and musty. They did have some one cleaning but you can only do a limited amount when it starts out needing to be ripped out. The pool looked good but we didn’t have time to use it. I would not recommend staying there unless it gets gutted and renovated. |It was close enough to Rehobeth beach.

This motel was a pleasant surprise. We just needed a place to crash for the night as we had a family event the next day. The room was clean. The bed was soft and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. My only complaint would be the smell. The room had a very intense cigarette smell. Not a deal breaker for us when we just need a place to crash for a night. For the price I think this place is a steal. Would 100% stay at this motel again. Also reminded me of the Rosebudd motel from schitts creek with the old school key on a keychain. Very cute!

A nice, clean room and a comfy bed. Nice place to sit outside where the trees are. Super friendly staff and neighbours. Recommended to eat at a deli nearby and it has amazing sandwiches!
