Sea Club IV Resort

First off, they claim to be a "Resort" and it's far from luxury, or Resort. The place is under construction, so there are men working first thing in the morning and construction materials everywhere. They decided to place the worker porta-potty right beside the smoking area for us to enjoy. The front desk actually closes after 8pm and if you have an issue and they have to be called in after hours, you get charged a $25 fee for the inconvenience. We placed a reservation for a 1 bedroom and somehow received a studio room. Very small, but clean and well stocked. Walked in the bathroom and the faceplate wasn't on the light switch and there were exposed wires hanging out. They did fix the issue, but the breaker kept blowing for about half an hour. LOVED IT! I will be honest, they were still doing repairs from the hurricanes last year, and outside was a bit rough. BUT room was amazing, location was great, and the staff went above and beyond. Would 110% recommend! Was a studio with a Murphy bed. Sorry pics aren't great, I did a video so pulled from it.

Before coming, management told us they were finishing balconies pending an inspection. This was a lie. We get there to find construction had barely started so we had to live in a construction site for a week with no access to our balcony. There was constant noise so we couldn’t hold conversation in the room or pool. Management was very unprofessional and inconsiderate with our complaints. Many people complained but nothing was given or any sincere apology. It’s a nice location and facility but I will never go back because how bad management is.

This is the WORST place to stay. The management was not completely upfront when they said they were doing "light construction". The noise started at 7:30 to 8am EVERY morning and did not quit until after 5-6pm every night. It was soo loud that you cannot hold a conversation inside the room, by the pool and any place on the property without having to scream. I would 100% NOT recommend this place at all!! If they are doing this type of construction they need to shut the property down for several months while completing it.

This the 3rd time staying at this resort and all times there has been some kind of construction and no warning given and the prices are too high to stay at a place where all you hear is construction noises , men standing in front of your window. Outside pool area drains are backed up. One year there was no access to the pool. But this year was it. I am done with this place. You can find better places to stay and have a peaceful rest and vacation then this place for less cost. If you book. Call the place first and ask about construction and noise in the property. Because you will get zero discount for the inconvenience. And we had infants with us. So it was just an unpleasant stay.
