Scranton Seahorse Inn

My husband and I just got back from a weekend trip to Scranton Seahorse Inn. Michael was so nice and hospitable from communicating with me prior to check in and throughout our entire stay. We stayed in The Madison room. Extremely comfortable bed and overall the space was great with a wood fireplace and access to the side deck which I’m sure is lovely in the warmer months. The food was also delicious with coffee and tea to choose from. Michael was such a great host wish I could give him more than 5 stars!!

The latest of my many stays at this superb bed and breakfast. Even better than before thanks to recent renovations that kept the room’s coziness and added more convenience. The location is ideal for walking to Madison’s Main Street merchants or close enough to I-95 to explore further afield. The owner made dinner reservations for me at great local restaurants. And his freshly made breakfasts are extraordinary — worth the trip for this alone! Highly recommended.

Our overnight stay at the Scranton Seahorse Inn in Madison was wonderful. We have stayed there several times and it never disappoints us. We came in on a cold and windy afternoon and the inn was warm and cozy. Tea, coffee and cookies are provided during the day. Breakfast is always a treat. Michael, the owner is a chef and makes the most delicious breakfast. The rooms are spotless and the Inn is in a perfect walkable location.

Best inn ever!! We absolutely loved our stay here. The location is great and it’s easy to explore the main street or drive to neighboring towns. Our room was cozy and comfortable and we loved how the inn was decorated for Halloween. The jacuzzi was a great touch as well and was able to fit both me and my 6’ bf. There was so much outdoor space too all cutely decorated, bunnies in the yard and lots of sitting space. The breakfast was so amazing and Michael was able to even accommodate us when we had to eat a bit earlier. Everything was fresh and delicious, even the teas were great quality and loose leaf like I like. The inn was the highlight of our trip and we’re already looking forward to staying again

Had a lovely and restful stay. The host was so accommodating and considerate. The ambience is welcoming, clean and homey. The location is wonderful for walking downtown and centrally located. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you Michael!!
