Scottish Inns Mocksville, NC

There were live and dead roaches in our room. On the ceiling and walls. They would crawl out randomly all nite inside the room. We went to the office to complain and they wouldn't come to the desk. We wanted a full refund yet got no one to even speak to us. We recorded the roaches on our cell phone. It ended up that we didn't sleep at all this night.

Has a bad case is roaches, the manager is real nasty with us. Took our dirty towel and never gave us clean towels. We called for clean towels and the manager was yelling at us saying he gave us towels and he didn't give us towels. They moved us from one room to another when we told him that roaches were crawling out of the tv. Then he told us to keep our door closed and we won't get roaches and we keep the door close. They have been crawling out of the heater all over the walls. We sleep with all the lights on and the kids were scared because of the roaches. Housekeeping never offered to clean our room either.

I stayed here for a couple months. The room is big but the roaches are terrible! The owner is rude but Perry was super nice. A church comes by to give out lunch, I believe they do it twice a week. They others that live there were nice and friendly. I think it's a little pricey for the condition. The owner would rather redo the parking lot than have bug exterminators come out and spray. I wouldn't recommend. I also don't recommend the motel behind Pizza Hut, the one with the pool, I believe he's owns that motel as well.

I wish I could rate this place -10 because it is that HORRIBLE!!!! So when we first walked up to the room I noticed bugs (roaches) in the door cracks. So I'm thinking, our room is pretty close to a lot of grass, so maybe it's just because of that. We opened the door and instantly see about 5 more roaches crawling on the walls. We were in an smoking room, there were holes in the bed spread and the sheets. A huge hole in the wall, I was afraid I would see mice that's how dirty this place is. Regardless of the low price, DO NOT stay here. If you do, make sure you don't put any of your belongings on the floor. If you do, you will be taking some guests (the roaches) home with you!

Everything is clean, beds are comfy, rooms are big, owners are sweet, linens are super white and you can tell they are cleaned with Clorox and sanitary, showers and toilets are white and look new, towels are a good size, there are racks with hangers, bed side tables are big with plenty of storage, beds are HUGE, dresser is very big with deep drawers and storage underneath, storage under the sink, fridge is vey roomy, microwave is spotless inside, ac and heat work great! The only 2 complaints is they have basic cable and they only let you have a pet if you pay nightly, they won't let you pay weekly with a pet which makes no sense. The pet will be there the same amount of time reguardless.
