Lakewood Motel

Mold on headboard of bed. Cobwebs all over the sides and back of the TV. Bed is very hard. The bible in the side table looks like someone literally put out a cigarette on the cover. Also, the remote only mutes the TV or turns it off. There's only one channel, HBO, and they do advertise that they have that channel, but that's the only channel. Dust on ever thing. Metal strip on the floor, dividing the bathroom from the bedroom, has 2 screws extending out just waiting for someone to get really hurt. I had to put a bar of soap over it to protect my feet. The whole first 2 hours I was here, which was 9pm-11pm, I kept hearing stomping and running straight above the ceiling. Place is a whole in the wall,don't go there if you don't have to.

My fiance and I will absolutely at any time recommend this hotel to anyone at any given time. The housekeeper's we're so amazing and helpful in so many ways not to mention kind and understanding they work so hard and really take pride in their jobs. I've read some post about cockroaches and gnats but you know what people that's everywhere you go and being that's kind of out in the woods it's what's to be expected. They were so understanding with my hubby and I about having 2 big white boxers and also a cat. And I tell you what she was having fun chasing the teeny little flies that some people have complained about. Clean rooms, quiet and friendly owners/employees. We haven't seen any of the "crackheads or drunks" that other reviewers mentioned. Also have not seen any bugs and we have stayed here, approximately 5 times in the last 2 or 3 month. They are doing upgrades and remodeling

This place is disgusting there is no stars are any rating I could give this place. The rats the roaches the price of a room is laughable. The management here is all about money I wouldn't allow my dog to stay there. It needs to be torn down and start over with rebuilding.
