Scottish Inns Fort Worth, TX

Scottish Inns on S. Freeway FTW has very clean rooms and grounds, professional front desk and nice breakfast every morning. It's been a relief after pipes bursting at home for great temporary lodging. Thank you all.

Positive: Clean, decent price Negative: The traffic noise from I-35 was awful. Property needs to invest in some soundproofing of windows, etc… I will not stay here again or recommend.

Room smelled like a combination of cigarettes, mildew, and cats. Floor was damp. Bathroom door didn't shut. Was all cracked like it might have been kicked in before. Sink water kept cutting itself back on and running. Location was right off the highway, with highway noise being pretty loud even at late hours of the night. The positives is We had no problem getting in, arriving into town late, with no reservation. They also did not charge a deposit for the room. The ac and heat worked ok. It served its purpose for 6 hours of sleep. Bed was comfortable. Sheets was clean. Comforter covered in several burn holes.

Cons:||The biggest negative to this hotel is that it is located directly adjacent to a very noisy freeway. Keep this in mind if you are sensitive to sounds. The electronic lock on the door was very temperamental and I got locked out of my room twice and had to have the clerk help me. Fortunately he was very patient and nice about it. I found a few stray hairs that weren't mine on the bed and bathroom - nothing extraordinarily gross, but worth mentioning. The water pressure in the shower seemed rather weak, but it could be due to the shower head itself needing to be changed. Breakfast is minimum. Decent people overall. Room had some discrepancies, but just dealt with it w/no complaints. Had some personal things to come up missing during our stay here. The people that work here are suspect. Be careful where you spend your money. They do nothing when there's a disturbance or noise. Choose another hotel.
