Scott City Inn Motel

The room was clean. The heater worked good. The bathroom had shampoo and decent towels. The bed was comfortable. The TV worked. The owner was very cordial. The price was the best ever. The restaurant across the street. The grill house had homemade fresh delicious food. Definitely five star. I don't mind old good quality

For what I needed for a week, this worked just fine. Reasonably clean. Good sized room. Frig and microwave. The people running the place were pleasant. Lots of folks looking like they’re there on an extended stay. Kind of loud - but the drone of the a/c drowns that out nicely. Dated and a little beat up. Exactly what you would expect for around $50/night.

Very old motel, not very well maintained. AC worked well and beds were comfortable. TV and frig in room. Price was biggest plus.

The customer service on the phone was good, at the desk was friendly and excellent, desk attendant was patient with me and allowed me to pay with 2 different methods; my room upon opening the door smelled fresh and clean; bed linens were clean, bathroom clean; no cobwebs or bugs in corners of ceiling; tv, microwave, refrigerator all worked well; pleasant experience & great value !

The mattress was decent. If you are looking for a super cheap overnight stay then this will do. There are absolutely no frills here. I think it was clean—hard to tell with the poor lighting. There are only two lamps in the room. One lampshade looks like it had been thrown across the room. The sheets are threadbare, very thin and worn. Not even positive they weren’t slept in before we used the room. The blankets don’t fit the bed. Supposedly a smoke-free room. I’m awake at 1:30 in the morning smelling stale smoke from the heating unit. The extra safety lock to prevent door from opening after being unlocked from the outside wasn’t working—only half of it was there. So even if the mattress is comfortable, I’m not getting a good night’s sleep because of the smell and lack of security. If my s
