Scattergun Lodge

We just visited Scattergun Lodge for three hunts and four nights. This is my third time to hunt at Scattergun. It has new owners which can prove challenging. IT DID NOT. If anything Scattergun is better than before. The new General Manger, Otto is great. He has assembled a great group of guides, some with Scattergun experience, some without. Their dogs live up to the Scattergun legend. The food was always strong at Scattergun, but this too has improved. Appetizers were especially good. We limited out all three days. The hunting was just terrific.

Scattergun Lodge is the trip of a lifetime. Chuck and Sheila are gracious beyond measure. Our guides, Eric and Dan, are two of the most knowledgeable, friendly, fun, and hard-working guys I've ever met. By the time I left, they truly felt like family. The food and wait staff was absolutely phenomenal. This is a world class operation. If you ever have the chance to visit these people and this facility, do not pass it up! Thank you to everyone at Scattergun Lodge for an experience I will never forget.

I just had an incredible experience at Scattergun Lodge; The.owners, staff, guides, dogs, quality of hunting, food, lodge, bar etc were ALL TOP NOTCH! Their commitment to safety is top priority and I will be back! Thank you very much to everyone and all the best.

Awesome hunt 1st day! Filled out party of 8 by noon! Hunt of a lifetime but my 3rd year, special thanks to Mike & Tim and everyone at Scattergun

Could not ask for a better trip. Chuck, Sheila, the guides, and all the staff are absolutely perfect hosts, the hunting is great, and the dogs are incomparable. If I could give 6 stars I would!
