Good mid-route camp. Philmont Scout Ranch staffs it depending on the season - we visited when staffed once and another just as a lunch-while-hiking spot.
My crew loved Santa Claus camp! We reloaded shells and shot shotguns there. And Santa even came to visit our campfire!
Nice area and shotguns were fun but the staff the day we were there was not super friendly.
No potable, potatabe, or tomatable water, great shooting though
Loved camping at Philmont.
