Sandcastle Beach Club

These rooms don't look as good in person as they do in the pictures. The carpet gives it a dirty feel and the place is a bit outdated. Not much good to say about the place except for what's outside of the rooms. It's right next to Ft Myers Time Square and the pier and that's nice. The pool is nice. They have a small dock with picnic table on the bay side and that was nice. They need to give these rooms some updates though.

We enjoyed our staycation at Fort Myers Beach. The building is older but clean and comfortable. The location of the resort is walkable to Time Square and Nervous Nellies. The Fort Myers Beach is just across the road with facilities. We enjoyed swimming and people watching at the beach and spending time around the pool. We liked the location and hotel very much, so we booked it two more times in the next 8 months.

Don’t let the fact that this is a converted motel influence your decision to stay here. We stayed in an efficiency unit and it was small, but very clean and well stocked. The pool is in great shape and location cannot be beaten (right across the street from SBC). Next door convenience store was also very helpful. Staff and other visitors/owners were very friendly....probably because it is small! Enjoy!

This resort is right by Times Square. It’s the perfect location if you want to be right near the action. Unit was large. There is a 7-11 store directly next door. ||||We did have issues with the lift not working a couple of days. This makes it difficult for the handicap. I wish the bathrooms had fans. They are small and there is so much moisture after taking a shower that even the TP was damp. ||||I would definitely stay here again.

I didn't know what to expect from this motel conversion. My first impression was very good with good layout. The unit wasn't as small as I would expect it but the bathroom was a little too small. Fortunately, we got a end unit with a balcony which made the unit feels bigger then it is. I wish the location was all gated and prevent non-guest from entering some area. The best part...location is right across from the beach, can't get any better then that. I do recommend it.
