Sand Castle Motel

we stayed there 2 days in June, the location is great. The room was very outdated . the mattress was very lumpy. We asked for wash cloths the 2nd day as there where only 2 in room and was told that they just give clean towels every 3 days. The smoke detector was not working face was off and wires hanging, no battery. I told front office they just shrugged shoulders, lock on door was not very good and did not feel safe, would not recommend. The location was great.

This is the kind of motel that reminds you how far good care and attention to detail can go. The room was simple but spotless, everything worked without a hitch, and it was genuinely quiet at night. Staff were easygoing and welcoming, and the price felt more than fair for the comfort. No gimmicks—just a solid, well-run place that does exactly what it should. I’d gladly stay here again.

In an area where accommodations are "EXCLUSIVE" this is a good find! The ocean view, places to eat, things to see is what matters. Sunsets that don't break the bank! It was a pleasant surprise to find my room had a Kitchenette with full size refrigerator and common area patio overlooking the ocean/ beach.

Positive: It's right on the beach. Negative: There is nothing not to like about this motel it's always clean, they have everything you need and are very friendly.

Clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, check-in was easy, and the room was quiet with a very comfortable bed. Great location and excellent value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
