San Marina Motel

We arrived at the hotel very late—almost 4 AM—and the staff could not have been kinder. After such a long travel day, being greeted by friendly, welcoming people made all the difference. They were incredibly accommodating and made sure we got settled in quickly and comfortably. One of my favorite surprises was their little morning espresso/barista setup. Fresh espresso in the morning is already a win, but the fact that they had oat milk absolutely made my trip! It’s such a thoughtful touch you don’t always find. The entire property is immaculately clean. Truly spotless. We’re from Georgia, so we’re used to seeing bugs around pretty much anywhere in the South—but here there wasn’t a single one in sight, not even outside. That level of upkeep really stood out. Rooms were small, there was only 1 electrical outlets that worked and the bathroom outlet was painted over. Upon arrival the door to the room was open and we had to deal with bugs. The smoke from everyone smoking outside their rooms was unbearable. The sign said pet friendly and we were Appalled that they allowed a dog in the swimming pool. I would Never stay at this place again. A Must to Avoid !!!!!

Rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL. Maids left a HUGE ball of hair that belonged to previous guest. Did not wipe out sink or any other part of bathroom the entire stay. Replaced towels and made the beds. Is right across from beach access when I called prior to booking confirmed there was a pool failed to mention it closed 2 weeks prior to my visit until after first of year as a seasonal close. WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN

Positive: I can't think of anything Negative: The description of the hotel is a lye, it clearly states that this is a beach front hotel, it's a block away from the beach and has no direct water access.

No ice machine and the rooms lack electrical outlets for more than the fridge (microwave and A/C are hooked into a multiplug and a separate one for the TV. If you hunt for one in the bathroom, we found one low to the floor near the sink. It’s expensive for what it was during Biketoberfest. I would recommend you keep looking.
