Saltwater Inn

Truly a terrible experience |No staff on duty. You must use a code to get into building and your room. This didn’t work for one man. He called the phone number posted with tape on the front door and sat on hold for over 25 minutes. The Inn was just the bare essentials and then maybe less… not even a box of tissues. No closet. No hangers. No place to hang a dress. Shower leaked onto floor , no place for soap or shampoo and if you placed them on the floor the door would fly open when you bent over. The pillows were like rocks. The ceilings were chipping. There was one outlet in my room. One lamp.one refrigerator, one tv all on the extension cord…. Plus my chargers. No smoke alarms in the rooms. The pros: great location, in walking distance to beach and stores. Contactless check-in makes late night arrival a breeze. Bathroom was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good (seriously where do you guys get that lemon pound cake? It’s all I can think about! The cons: we stayed in #7 and while the room itself was nice, the window air conditioning units need some attention. They do blow cold air, but they may need some cleaning. Both nights of our stay, my boyfriend and I woke up both morning with sinus issues that relieved when we left during the day but came back when we returned to the room at night. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Saltwater Inn. The room was very clean, looked like the pictures on the website. There were plenty of towels & drawers to store our clothes. Great location, close to the boardwalk as well as our friend’s house. We highly recommend this B & B. We would definitely return.

Enjoyed a very nice, clean room on the first floor (no stairs!). Juan and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. Inn was very quiet and comfortable. Especially enjoyed the porch for cocktails. Only thing that could have been better was the breakfast which could have had more choices. We will definitely be back!

My daughter and I were looking for a clean place to stay for one night while in town for a show. I somehow came across the Saltwater Inn and couldn't be happier. It's absolutely adorable. Our room was small but actually perfect for what we needed (and I know they have larger ones available) plus the accommodations and shared 'lobby/foyer' area with some amenities give it such an comfortable feel but with still having your privacy. Plus my daughter was very excited about the brownies and I was on the decent coffee (which I can never seem to get at a hotel) and lovely tea selection! We plan on coming back to stay for an actual beach stay soon!! Check in process and directions were easy, no hassle! Very very pleased! Thank you so much!
