Salt Lick Cove Campground

We stayed here last weekend and had the best time! The campground is beautifully maintained — everything is spotless, well cared for, and so pleasing to the eye. You can tell the owners take great pride in keeping the grounds immaculate. They hosted a Fall Festival and Chili Cook-Off while we were there, and it was such a fun, family-friendly event! There were activities for all ages, delicious food, and a great sense of community. It truly felt like a little hometown celebration tucked away in nature. The owners and hosts went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome — they’re some of the friendliest and most helpful people you could ever meet. Love this place. The host, Josh and Brandon went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! The owners Caleb and Heather were great as well, they made everyone just feel like that were home!! The campground was very well kept and just a beautiful place!! If your looking for a great place to camp, I highly recommend checking it out!!! This great campground felt like home as soon as we pulled in! The hosts were fantastic and on top of everything - checking regularly to see if we needed anything! The full-timers there were friendly and welcoming and we even got to meet the campground owners, who were awesome! We had such a great time last weekend, we're going back this weekend, lol! Beautiful view, very relaxing and a classy campground (with a gorgeous community pavilion)...highly recommend for a weekend getaway, or longer!

Absolutely delightful! Salt Lick Cove Campground has quickly become our favorite since moving here. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warmest and kind-hearted people, making us feel right at home. The owners are truly exceptional—super nice and incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcomed. The managers are on-site and always available to make your stay more enjoyable or to answer any questions you have. Events at the campground are fantastic, with something for everyone, fostering a strong sense of community among visitors from all walks of life. Whether you’re planning a quick escape or searching for a new home away from home, Salt Lick Cove is the perfect spot. We couldn’t be happier to have found this gem!
