John's Campground

What a beautiful spot! Clean, well maintained and peaceful. It was very easy to set up the rv. The sites are spacious, too. We walked around the grounds and I don't recall any that weren't on the water. Mr. Bill, Ms. Mary and Ms. Malia were so helpful, friendly & fun.

Very clean and quiet place! So glad we stopped here! I highly recommend this place! We loved it and we're certain that you will too!

This campground is in a great location for those who like to fish or spend time on the lake. There are a number of spaces available with private docks, and the area is very quiet at night. It is not a full hook up in the traditional sense. Everything for dumping is available, but the campground uses above ground holding tanks for black water which you are responsible for emptying at additional expense. It's not really a big deal; it's just more of a nuisance. My low rating has everything to do with the owner and his unscrupulous business practices. We stayed at this campground every other week during a work contract we had in the area, and prior to arrival we were given an all inclusive monthly price for rent, water, and electricity. Everything was great until it was time to actually move to my lot(that I already payed a deposit on). This man wanted to basically “interview” me before moving. Well I had some plans that weekend and he got VERY rude with me on the phone and told me it sounded like I had other obligations to tend to. Would not recommend renting from this man at all. Horrible customer service and horrible attitude.

Called about booking a site and had everything just about ready to go except I wanted to wait to hear back from one more campground before booking. Owner got mad and told me that was okay and that we didn’t need to rent. Didn’t take me long to realize all the bad reviews this man already had were true. Do not stay at this campground.
