Sacajawea Inn

Needed a place quickly in town to accommodate me, my kids, and our cats. Bridget was so friendly and helpful. My son loved the wolf mural on the wall. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. We didn’t want to leave ☺️

It was an amazing experience with an amazing staff. Reading some of the negative reviews I was concerned but it definitely exceeded my expectations. It is a small town and very family oriented. It was awesome to see the manager (Rachel) prioritizing guest accommodations and the best small town hospitality. Everyone there were great, we had an issue with our room and the handyman (George) took care of it immediately. Rooms were clean with a good smell (sometimes hard to find) and loved seeing the wildlife (deer) hanging out around the property. It had a comfortable “like home” atmosphere and we would definitely stay here again. Already looking forward to our next vacation in Salmon.

Very happy with our stay on New Year’s Eve. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were excellent! The service from the woman who checked us in was outstanding. She was very quick and courteous and also very helpful in recommending food and entertainment. We will definitely stay there again.

The online booking procedure didn't work, the prices varied and weren't actual. Found the place easily, Rachel was a gem and gave us the Sheep Room which worked fine. Very comfortable bed, good shower. We're totally happy with our experience at Sacajawea Inn.

Great room, great host! Rachel was so very friendly, the room so absolutely nice and clean (stayed in the one with the wolf-painting). Sure it is not the Waldorf Astoria, but what more do you need after a long day on the road than a comfortable and clean bed and a warm smile from an outstanding host? We will stay here again, if we are round the area. Thank you Rachel!
