S & S Camp Grounds

I have stayed at this campground numerous times, and I absolutely love it! Everyone there is so nice and friendly. The lake is absolutely beautiful. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place to stay.

I love it here and I honestly enjoy the environment. The sunsets are just as beautiful as the sunrise's.

I looked hard at most of the campgrounds here in Cross. My first pick was always S&S Campground. Its absolutely beautiful and the former Manager, Indian Mike made me feel like we were already old friends. It was difficult to get a long term spot but Mike and I stayed in touch and the wait has been well worth it. The owners have been nothing but kind, generous and understanding to me personally and to my best friend Julie. Mrs. Margaret helped get Julie in this beautiful place right next to me and it's helped me tremendously. If you want to enjoy a beautiful, well thought out , peaceful campground owned and ran by wonderful people look no further. This is our home and these are our friends. Please come enjoy!

I am currently at this campground with my 8 yr old.. We spend roughly 4-5 days per week here home schooling and relaxing. This hidden jewel is amazing, great views, reasonable rates and amazing people to be around. Mike the property manager is a wonderful human being and has made our stay so far feel like home. If you are looking for family friendly and laid back; this is it!

This is NOT where you wanna camp, manager drinking beer, grass needs cutting, office needs to be torn down, dilapidated buildings and all around just bad. Cost more then angel landing which is at least a 4 star..The one good thing is, it's on the water. I would rate this place a zero but it wasn't an option..
