Rum River Motel Princeton

Roj (the owner) is a very hospitable person. I came here during hard times and Roj, who knows the local workings, set me up with a temp service and I was able to start work the next night. We had a meaningful conversation and he even offered me food. I'm very grateful for the boost. Thank you Roj!

While Rum River Motel is a work in progress with the newest owner, Raj; it is quite a nice place to hang your hat! Not too bad

We needed a room fast because of unforseen things. And the man at the front desk was very very helpful

This is messed up. Only place we could find.. Old dirty broken down.minimal everything. Smelled funky. No breakfast. The staff was friendly

We were in Princeton so we could attend a memorial service for my late brother-in-law. We needed a room that was pet-friendly and from past experiences we knew this hotel allows pets. My oldest daughter called in the reservation the day before we were to arrive. They assured her that they would ready a room for us on first floor so our dog wouldn't have to walk up stairs (he has an ACL injury and limps pretty badly.) The owner is very kind and, knowing we were driving two plus hours after I got off work at 11 PM, stayed up to welcome us. The owner is trying to make the hotel as welcoming as possible with what I assume is a tight budget. The bed was comfortable and the shower had an adjustable spray on it.
