Rukmapura Park Hotel

This was one of my all time favorite places to rent a apartment yes they have rentals to in out side of town not only just hotel historical and beautiful I lived there for few months it was the best thing I could of ever done for myself after a divorce it's peaceful there quiet and in summer they got pond, also walking trails and a place I called home 🏠

My husband and I stayed at the Rukmapura for over a week while visiting family. It is a charming and lovely hotel, run by nice and helpful people. It is a great place to really relax and get away from everything. The views are tranquil, the area quiet, and the sunsets and night sky are amazing. It has more the feel of an Inn or Bed and Breakfast, as opposed to a big name hotel. The area is rural and not as manicured as some might expect. But these traits are all part of the charm, and are pluses in my book. The room was very clean and we were able to get help immediately when one of our lights went out. The staff also told us about an awesome local concert, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The musicians were staying at the Rukmapura. Overall, the best place to stay in Fairfield!

My Mother stayed at this hotel which also has housekeeping units available. It is very comfortable, well appointed, peaceful and yes, out of the way. It is not your typical Best Western,so I can see why some people might be a little surprised. It is an experience in itself, a meditation just being there. It is not going to be your Hyatt house all you can eat breakfast spread, so don't expect that. Instead, expect to enjoy a unique atmosphere with friendly people in a spiritual environment.

Out amidst the rolling hillsides of Southeast Iowa lies a hidden treasure: a peaceful, SERENE, pastoral setting perfect for rest and relaxation! What an idyllic place to get away from the stress and strain. This rustic yet nicely appointed lodge is a great place to book for retreats! I stayed in a one bedroom suite with kitchen and electric fireplace. ||The room was clean and amenities included: filtered water in the room, free high-speed wifi, cable TV, fireplace, bathtub, and small workout room. Breakfast can be had downstairs with fresh fruit, Organic and gluten-free options, cereals, muffins, breads, yogurts, etc... ||**This is not a full-service hotel as the front desk is not staffed 24/7. However, I was provided with a contact number should I need anything and my key was waiting for

My husband and our three children stayed here recently and we were so pleased to stumble across this jem! It's so rare to find such a spacious hotel suite with a full kitchen complete with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and a full sized refrigerator. When traveling with small children, it's always a challenge to find a hotel where we can cook our own meals and not eat out every meal. The staff was very helpful and directed us to a quaint organic grocery store in town called Everybodies, where we found everything we needed to stock up for our stay. Also, they told us about a great cafe called Paradiso where we enjoyed local organic roasted coffee and brunch for the kids on Sunday. Overall, we were really pleased with our stay and highly recommend the Rukmapura!
