Roxy Hotel

I was never told I couldn’t have guests I just figured I was the only one that had to register for a room. I was quiet my entire stay and decided to have someone over and I was rudely yelled at to not have him as a guest by the horrible manager. Had the manager not seen me I would have been able to have a good night with no problems but he just had to be there are ruin everything! I understand some motels have a no guest policy but the people at the front desk usually mind their business. Not to mention it was the day before Valentine’s Day so my day was ruined! What kind of cheap crummy motel is gonna not allow guests MIND YOUR BUSINESS AND AT LEAST PROVIDE A/C IF YOU’RE GONNA THROW PEOPLE OUT! Abysmal.

Positive: Convenient Negative: No air conditioning

I only completed one night of my two night stay before having to move to another hotel. The whole place smells, the lobby has a strong smell of curry, and the room smelt so strongly of bleach/cleaning products that it was uncomfortable. The room was also quite dirty in places, with marks on the chairs, years of grime on the TV remote and phone, and dust in the cupboards. There is no air conditioning, just a noisy pedestal fan that was haphazardly plugged into one of two electrical outlets. The room was tiny, with a short bed and miniscule bathroom. The hotel advertises free parking, but there are only 6 spaces that are difficult to manoeuvre into/out of, there is no turning space so I ended up having to reverse out on to a busy highway. Great place to stay for the price! Just a basic nice room but had everything we needed, staff was friendly and HELPFUL! Recommend if on a tight budget.

Water was hot, manager gave me n my friend some difficulties but backed off when stood up to. Parking lot gate is locked from 10pm to 7am, didn't mention that when I got room..he did let me out tho. Keycard deposit only $20, which was duly returned upon check out. Pretty quiet, just don't expect much and you won't be disappointed
