Round Top Hotel

This place is really nice! They text you the day before with your hotel room code & a ton of information to go with the hotel check in. Park right in front of your room. We were given room #5 which is on the corner so we had a few more steps which was not an issue for us. I noticed they maintain the property as a few boards to the patio were replaced. It was easy to use the keypad to enter the room. The room was very clean (I’m a hard one to please on this), spacious, and decorated just enough to feel homey. I will agree the walls can be thin as we could hear guest next door. Location to antique shopping is the best place to stay. Highly recommend. Coyote Station Lodging is a very friendly and welcoming place and I will definitely stop here again should I travel through Round Top again! The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfy - nicely furnished - equipped with all luxuries one can wish for! We are cycling the Southern Tier and after a day of conquering the hills and confronting headwinds, Coyote Station is exactly the perfect accommodation - walking distance to the nearby grocery store and the restaurants in Round Top! ||||The hosts are immensely generous! I booked this hotel paid and everything and then got a call that they overbooked. Days later, they called me back and said the room had opened We gave them Grace because we wanted to stay downtown so we canceled our other reservations and ended up rebooking with them. Unbeknownst us a ice storm decided to come through the week that we were supposed to come so we asked if we could get a credit to book in the fall or another date and she said no. The service seems very all over the place and I gave them grace with none in return. I will not be giving them my business in the future. So very disappointed with the way Sherree handled everything. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE GOING TO ROUND TOP. A group of friends and I booked this hotel online a couple of weeks ago and then they called us letting us know their website wasn't updated and they actually have no rooms available. They then called us back a week later to tell us they had a cancellation and we canceled our other stay (which was way nicer and cheaper) to stay at their hotel. We have inclement weather coming in the weekend of our stay and are traveling from Dallas. The hotel will in NO WAY work with us on a refund or a credit for the hotel to come back in the Spring or Fall. Had a WONDERFUL stay here with a few friends over the weekend. The rooms were very clean and the outdoor space was perfect to sit outside and hangout! Also great location to town and Tyrone, the owner, drove us and dropped us off, kind people! Highly recommend this place.
