Rosario Village

The grounds are truly magical and the property has endless potential! Unfortunately, right now it is more like a very overpriced Airbnb than a hotel ( I say this so you don’t expect typical hotel amenities or service). The Bayside rooms are old, very dirty, and extremely hot (in the summer with no air). The walls are also very thin, and we could hear neighbors blasting music late into the night. Hopefully someone does a LARGE renovation to make this place as magical as it can be.

Our stay here was not as expected. After reading about this hotel online, I followed tips and chose what others had said was a great room (1316) and it did not disappoint in its main feature: stunning views right over the water. It had a beautiful private deck (that has seen better days, but still nice) and a gas fireplace. However, I was unprepared for the level of neglect that seems to have taken over. There were small things: no caffeinated beverages of any kind in the room (only decaf coffee); no tissues; the fireplace didn't work; the TV didn't work; there was one bathrobe instead of two for a king suite. All of these were minor in themselves, but made significantly worse by the big thing: there is no lobby, and no one on duty to speak with. Instead everything is done via a text chatb

Casey's place was amazing! Great communication and immediate responses. A beautiful ocean view, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. I had booked for one night, but the place was so beautiful that we decided to stay another day to explore it.

This is a challenging review to write because the resort offers both impressive highs and astonishing lows. Our party had 2 rooms for 3 nights to attend a wedding celebration at nearby Camp Moran in early October. The Good: - King-size beds were very comfortable, clean, neat. - large room - We each had a lovely deck and seating area with water view. - Easy, free parking - Coffee/tea station in room plus a sizable refrigerator - property is very quiet (off season) The Bad: - other than the bed, the room is shabby and tired. Carpets stained, burn marks on bathroom countertop, mold in shower, sliding door to deck was very hard to open/close (warped?) - stained bath towels (yuck) - there is no food within miles of the property (no restaurant, resort store, in-room minibar, etc) The Ugly: c
