We had the most wonderful weekend getaway at Rooted Land Co! Zachary went above and beyond in terms of hospitality and acquainting us with the different activities and amenities. Everything was completely set up upon arrival, and Zachary even had the wood burning hot tub ready to go! We loved exploring the stream, flower and vegetable garden, and saying hello to the chickens! The home itself was beautiful and clean and we definitely plan to return! Thank you Zachary! Would give six stars if possible.

A slice of Heaven in the Virginia mountains. There is no way to say how much fun and much needed relaxation we had. Zachary is a wonderful host and person. Picking fresh vegetables and flowers was a treat. My ladies (chickens), happily greeted me and had eggs waiting everyday. The deer greeted us in the am and pm. The starry skies and the hot tub. We can’t wait to go back. Great anniversary trip. Thanks Zach. We will meet again. Best wishes on your expansion.

We spent a weekend at the hilltop cottage. Zach was so accommodating and helpful during our stay. It's a true paradise that he's built tucked away in the Shenandoah mountains. Amazing host, amenities, location. Best host we’ve ever encountered. Zach is personable and thoughtful and you can tell he cares about his property and guests! River access, vegetable and herb farm, flower farm, fresh daily eggs and firewood, hiking trails, quiet, 5 min from free Shenandoah access through Graves Mill, etc. You can’t beat this stay!!

What a great time of fun, peace and relaxation we had at Rooted Land Company! The accommodations at Hilltop Cottage were top notch! Loved the chickens…their eggs were the BEST! We can’t believe we forgot to pick and eat of the beautiful lettuce in the garden. Two places nearby that we really enjoyed were Keswick Winery and Bavarian Chef. Both treated us like family and the wine and food were excellent! Thanks, Zach, for everything!!! You certainly know how to make your guests feel right at home! We would highly recommend this AirB&B to anyone planning a trip to Virginia! We look forward to coming back again!
