Manor House @ BDR Farm

Recently I stayed at the charming Manor House at BDR in Madison County, which is nestled in the mountains of Virginia. The Manor House was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bedrooms were well-appointed and quite comfortable. Multiple gathering areas, especially the area at the back of the house, provided stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Walking around the grounds was the most peaceful experience I can remember. Our host was attentive, though stayed well in the background, but still provided clear instructions and local tips that enhanced our stay. This Manor House offered the perfect blend of tranquility and relaxation. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature, providing a lovely getaway for a weekend or longer.

I recently enjoyed a wonderful couple of days at the Manor House with a group of friends. It was truly amazing! The house is beautiful; each room is decorated perfectly! The bed was very comfortable, and the linens and towels are high quality. We enjoyed cooking together and the kitchen had everything we needed. I look forward to staying here again!

The Manor House at BDR was the perfect place for our event. The house is spacious, comfortable, and very clean, but the outdoor space was the best part, for me. The pastures and the views of the rolling hills were just beautiful. There is easy access to great hiking, and the Radian River. The host was very accommodating and responded quickly when we contacted her. I would highly recommend The Manor House for any type of event!

The Manor House at BDR was the star in our girl’s weekend! Driving through the fields of cows as I approached the house, the warm yellow door was welcoming. The house feature a wide range of welcoming gathering spaces: porch, patio, living room, den, dining room, eat in kitchen. We spent most of our time in the eat-in kitchen and patio. We ran out of time to enjoy the fire pit. I found my bedroom to be very comfortable. I look forward to coming back to Madison and enjoying the farm setting surrounded by mountains and great comfort. The Manor House at BDR Farm is a magical place … very private and very well-appointed. Everything is provided to make your stay perfect … from the spacious home to the high end bed linens to the plush towels to the well stocked kitchen. You will want for nothing … except to sit back, relax and take in the breathtaking views! I highly recommend this lovely place! You will NOT be disappointed …
