Roosevelt Resort RV Park

The cabin was great with 2 exceptions. The shower is small and the shower head is very lame. And the oven doesn't work very well. Attempting to make hobo foil packets for dinner and had in the oven at 400 for 45 minutes, and not cooked. Opened the foil and tried again for another 15 minutes, still not cooked. Upped the oven to 500 and another 15 minutes, still not done. Finally just cooking it in pans on the stove top and hopefully we can eat soon. The only reason this place got 3 stars is because the dam oven. We rented this because of the oven/stove, can deal with the stupid small horrible shower. But cooking food is paramount. Ugghh.

Did a stop here on a motorcycle ride. Booked ahead and check in was easy. Restaurant right next to hotel was great. Good beer and food! Room was clean and cool. In the back there is some kind of porch with chairs were one can sit, enjoy the sunset, the desert view or watch the bats flying over the little pond located in the back yard. All in all a pleasant stay.

If you want peace and quiet. This is the place to visit. There is so much beauty around this park. It will take your breath away. For me, the simple, peace and quiet surrounded by the beauty. More than any dollar amount.

Clean beds and sheets. Fun pond for the kids to fish. Pet friendly. Resort is older and a little run down but that's kind of what I expect from here. Room could have been a little cleaner - smudges on door handles, door frames, etc. (could use a deep clean). Coffee makers are old and dirty. Other than that, I love this place and the location!
