Roomba Inn and Suites

The location where the place is makes it easy to walk to the pier or the boardwalk. When we arrived we were given a room number when we go to check in someone was in that room. Arrived in the room it was clean had no unpleasant smells or anything like that. Phone was not hooked into the wall, we had no towels had to walk back to the office to get some. We stayed for 3 nights and our room was never cleaned and we were not given clean towels. The pool was clean they just need better furniture for the pool area. They could definitely use a remodel! The front office staff were nice. It could not get anyone to answer the phone if you tried to call. It wasn’t the best or the worst I’ve seen.

This place is not sanitary. The rooms smell disgusting and there are bugs everywhere. The bed sheets/pillow cases were not changed and there was bugs and crumbs all over the bed. We had to sleep with a towel over our bed. The floor is extremely dirty and walking barefoot for a few steps makes your feet turn black. There is no such thing as room service at this place. The a/c was broken and the balcony door had to be kept open at night. People smoke weed in the rooms and overall this place is not cultured. The pool also looks disgusting because the water literally looks white. This hotel does not appear to be maintained at all and definitely needs to be shut down. I do not recommend staying here.

Overall great value but we had some issues. Experienced bed bugs for the first time in our lives. I realize they can come from anywhere so am not upset with the hotel. They took the report seriously, moved us, and shut down the room to handle the issue. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and just fine. I'd like to think we just got unlucky during our stay. Oh and we found a crack pipe in our room.. again not the hotel's fault but it apparently is that kind of hotel. I give it three stars b/c it was otherwise pleasant. We enjoyed the ocean view room, which was very close to the Ocean.

Arriving to the hotel the parking was a complete joke. The staff was not helpful at all and very rude. It smelt so bad outside our room like garbage. Then we walked in our room to bugs on the wall and body fluids on the floor. We asked for our room to be cleaned again because there wasn't any other hotels that were available for 21 and under. When we asked they made it a big deal. Our door didn't lock and there were flies in our room as well. Let's just say I almost slept in my car. I do not recommend this place at all. I usually don't write reviews but this one was absolutely horrible.

If I could put zero stars for the review then I would. The only thing the Roomba has going for them is the location smack on the beach and the front desk staff, that is it!! The first room we were put in smelled unbelievably bad so we switched to another very small room. The room definitely needed help and major updating.. Here is our weekend..... the back door to the patio barley locked, every single cup of coffee I made supplied by the hotel was stale and the kicker, it was 45 degrees all weekend outside and we lost hot water for 3 hours and then several more times. Yes on the beach but for $100. A night I expect to take a dam hot shower before going out for the evening. Maintenance man stated they are tearing it down soon, definitely a good idea!!! Maybe worth $50 A night😡😡
