Roger Williams Inn

Nostalgic visit as I had been there 60+ years ago. Top floor suite and there was only one other couple the first night and we were solo the second night. Decor is very dated and in order to have breakfast it must be ordered two weeks in advance. We adjusted with rolls from the previous night’s restaurants. All in all a good stay.

Even though it was off season I called on a whim to see if there was a room available for the night and they made it happen! I haven't stepped foot in this hotel in over 20 years and I'm happy to say, it has the very same charm I remembered. The renovations so far are great. They've freshened things up but haven't lost the ora of the hotel's history. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and even got a sneak peak of the penthouse overlooking the lake - holy cow! So cool. We will definitely be back.

The rooms were nice, and comfortable. The only downside is there was no hot or warm water to shower. Might be because of the number of people they were hosting. I was able to take a somewhat warm shower once during my stay. The staff was kind a friendly. The food was good. The location was great, with boat and jet ski rentals available. Also a nice gift shop I recommend checking out. Despite the cold showers I had a very nice time here and would recommend people to stay here and bring groups. There's a basketball court, soccer/ volleyball courts and kids playground. It was a very fun stay.

This was a really gross, old, smelly hotel I had to stay in for a competition. The key cards to the rooms didn’t work and the bathrooms were gross. Built in 1930 (no joke). I only liked the view of the lake.

Gorgeous view of Green Lake. Old buildings with new convenience that do not interfere with the nostalgia of an era gone by
