Rodeway Inn Swainsboro

I went here for a 5 min break from reality to justchillout and watch a Lil tv. A getaway without getting away. I regretted as soon as I realized I had a small audience outside my room within 5 mins bc I couldn't even figure out how to unlock the door. I haven't rented a room in almost a decade so some things are new to me including this hotels key entry method. I wasnt sure if the audience or the ppl staring at me where entertained by this or if they were plotting to rob me. So that was strike 1. Then upon finally entering the room upon close inspection I concluded they do not thoroughly clean and or sanitize the rooms. Because I found a massive hair ball in the shower drain. I was so disgusted that I had to use my entire bottle of germ x to wipe down before I felt halfway comfortable agai

The positives It was clean, nice tv, mini fridge, decent bed. Receptionist was nice and friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. Negatives The smart tv had apps that weren't accessible and neither was the cable on It, th coaxial cable was very blurry. The shower head was 5 feet off the ground, the walls were very thin and there was a big hole under the door so you heard everything outside

Easy access, great a/c. Bathroom mirror was amazing! Inexpensive room, partially updated but there is a way to go. Quiet, clean. Step into the bathroom wasn't level with the room so needed to be careful. No bedside table lamps, all lights in the ceiling.

Very dated bathroom. I was awakened, at 2:30AM, by a drugged-out guy playing music outside my door that it actually shook my bed. It went on for nearly an hour. it finally stopped after I had to look up the phone number for the Inn since there was no direct line to the office.

the room wasn't nice - also long dark hairs on the pillowcases, and there is no bedside light, if you want to read there is only an overhead light shining in your eyes. Also, I was charged for the room on my credit card without being asked at checkout if I wanted to use that card to pay - the 2 rating above is if I would recommend this place as someplace good to stay. It would get a 9 as someplace NOT to stay.
