Rodeway Inn near Venice Beach

The cleaning lady is exceptional and absolutely an amazing beautiful woman that gets her job done and is a real big help and does Management's job for them considering there is none and they treat everyone like garbage except for the cleaning lady and a couple of the security guards were amazing. Monique the security guard is amazing and Letty the cleaner made my stay there bearable. Otherwise the management and ownership of this company is absolute trash and treat everyone with disrespect. It is completely loud and obnoxious and people get harassed. There's no organization and the poor cleaning lady is doing the job of management and every time I've seen any sort of management they have been vile rude and completely useless. This was bad from start to finish. The first room we were assigned has cockroaches in it, the second room we were moved to reeked of smoke despite being a non-smoking room, the place felt dirty and outdated, the person at the desk checking us in was rude and had no customer service skills, not to mention the fact that the check-in took 20 minutes. We actually ended up leaving 10 minutes into arriving because the place had such a bad energy and was very creepy. Considering what you get, the price of this hotel is absolutely unjustifiable.

This place is perfect if you love sketchy neighbors, dirty walkways and sleeping with roaches. YES SLEEPING WITH THEM ACTUALLY IN YOUR BED! This place is the lowest of the low, I had to clean my room myself and the rag/rags were black! Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Not even a homeless person. ROACH MOTEL.

This place is a dump! Decorated like a pay by the hour motor lodge. Fridge and microwave but no coffee maker. Manager lives on site and will meet you at the checkin window because security has taken over the original lobby. He’ll be dressed in dirty clothes.

This place looks okay. It's not okay. The management is extremely rude to the people who stay there. The management calls security and police on people who are visiting people who are depressed from being homeless and need someone to uplift them. There Roaches in rooms the Management runs the place like a private zoo. There is someone spying on people who visit. And more. I am really upset and bothered by the Management telling me I can come and visit and call security who comes to me yelling and screaming at the top of his lungs, threatening me with calling the police. Don't go to the place
