Rodeway Inn Kingman Route 66

I had a good stay and would come back again anytime 👍 The night guy at the front desk was friendly & helpful. Its an 'econo" grade hotel so if you're not all high maintenance you'll do fine. The building is older so the walls and carpets have seen better days. The bed was surprisingly comfy and all the linens were clean and fairly new, and the shower had plenty of good hot water. For an affordable place to just crash & get a good nights sleep they came through in all the right placea.

We booked the room via choice app. Chose since it had truck parking as we drive hot shot. The room was dingy, had not been thoroughly cleaned in who knows how long. Tv remote didn't work properly and we killed about 6 bugs. Will not stay there again abd choice needs to pull them or make them clean it up. I stay in hotels every night I'm on the road so i rarely leave a review unless its bad. Do not stay here until its better

This place is major cool. I've been treated like a guest even though I myself am a bit of an oddity. Think of a dedicated female athlete who has to remember to sway rather than march. The architect who designed this place should have received an award. It's built organically into the landscape. The structure is inviting not harsh right angles. Soft lighting along the pathways the beige and pink two tone motif, the well done mural surrounding the huge pool is very unique and almost whimsical. If you're old enough you can close your eyes and imagine TV and movie stars of the past lounging around the pool relaxing with highballs and martinis or sipping on something that looks like a pineapple or a tiny umbrella just hanging on the edge of a glass. Our room shouldn't have been rented. There was water all over the bathroom floor and someone before us had left a plastic cup to catch the water under the toilet valve. The towels were stained past the point that they could be bleached and the shower head leaked and sprayed sideways which was causing more water on the floor. The bed in that room was hard and sagged. Just not a good experience. Too late at night after a 13 hour drive to find a better place.

I booked a pet room for my son. Not only did he not get the pet room, the room assigned had cockroaches and gum stuck to the shower wall. So disappointing as I have always had a pleasant stay with rodeway. Jesse was very helpful while booking the room but the night clerk was an idiot, unhelpful and not very nice.
