Nice little campground. Tall canyon cliffs. Restrooms cleaned daily. Sounds from the creek very nice. Not much access to the creek except from the 1st and last sites. We stayed 5 days and had a great stay. Good location for day trips or just hanging out. The only thing that might bother some are the groups of side by sides that run up the the main road past the campground.

One of the best spots in Spearfish Canyon. Great hiking and mountain biking (experienced only-technical) Rimrock Trail. Runs @ 6 miles. 5-6k elevation change. Can see Wyoming from the top of the Rim.

Small campground with no amenities but several hikes right from the campground.

The campground was really nice. The only downfall was not much shade at some of the sights. The gentleman that took care of the grounds was super nice. He lived on our puppies and saved the night by delivering wood to all of us. We ran out..

This is a small campsite immediately off the road (that is commonly used for ATVing). The campsite has small sites most suitable for tents. If you have an RV or trailer under 25' in length, you also will find several sites here that will work for you. This is a no frills campground in that there's a vault toilet and water, but nothing else. There is a small creek that runs on the edge of the campground. There is a picnic table and fire ring with each site. No firewood is available for sale. Note, if you have an RV or trailer over 30' in length, you will have a difficult time finding a suitable spot here or even an ability to turn around. With a 31' trailer, it was very difficult to turn around and barely fit into campsite 6. Campsite 7 is probably the best site. Cost is $18/night per s
