Rocky Top Preserve and Disc Golf

Great disc golf course, multiple changes in elevation, technical parts in wooded areas definitely worth the trip! Will definitely be up there again!

We stayed in the sunset yurt, which was very cute, quiet and secluded! The mattress in the yurt felt great after doing a 60 mile ride around Torch! It was great that they gave you the first bundle of wood with plenty of chopped up wood on the property to buy more! We reserved the yurt through AirBnB and Heidi was very responsive! We loved that it wasn’t crowded like some other campgrounds can get, especially for the month of July in beautiful northern Michigan! We will certainly be back!

Love rocky top Preserve! Camped at the Cul De Sac site for 2 nights and would highly recommend. Porta potties were the cleanest I've seen at a campground. Our site was huge, plenty of room for activities. Did some exploring around the site and came across some interesting things including 2 pigs! The host was very helpful and communicative. Definitely would come here again.

Booked a cabin through airbnb. These hosts intentionally misled me, refused to answer my questions about the safety of the cabin at booking or take responsibility for their lack of communication when we arrived and found huge gaps in the screen that our dog could walk through. Asked if there were any barriers we could put up to see if we could make it work and was told “I don’t know what to tell you.” Refused to refund me after we had driven nearly 4 hours to get there and couldn’t use the cabin in the end. Gaslit and blamed us, rather than acknowledge that ANY dog would have been able to get through the massive gaps in the screens with no trouble. Ignored communication.
