Rocky River RV Resort

I really, really hate ever giving bad reviews. Tried to email the owner so I could just discuss my issue with them. I’m not sure it kicked back or just no answer. We stayed here when it first opened and it was such a clean and pleasurable experience. We play the Lampasas tournament and usually try to stay across the street from the golf course. Since it was full this time we decided to stay here. Was so very disappointed! It was not so clean and all the rules it has listed seem not to apply to all of the long term guests. My real complaint is the fact that our dog couldn’t walk at all without getting stickers!! Our whole site was full of them. Totally a turn off! And painful for our dog. Does not even consider pop up campers even with a picture our little pop up camper is a mint condition she would not even consider giving us a site

We rented a VERY reasonably priced cabin for Christmas. |The owner, Diane, and employees were so helpful and kind. |The river is onsite with a beautiful walking path. |Showers were sparking clean, and cabin had a beautiful view of the sunrise.

I have lived here for over a year. I love it here-the river, the quiet, the great neighbors, and the location is so convenient! The dog wash is such a useful feature, especially after a trip to the river which my dog loves. I have lived in other RV parks but this one is truly special. The fire rings are well set up and there is even firewood provided.

While working at Fort Hood, I stayed at Rocky River for right at 1 year from February 2019 to February 2020. I had absolutely no issues while being here. Based on my endless work schedule, I never had a chance to eat from the café but considering the way everything else was run, I’m sure it was good. I don’t drink coffee so can’t speak to that either. Owners are extremely personable and easy to get along with. Reading some of the more recent reviews, it sounds like continuous upgrades have been made since I was there. Never had any problems with the wifi either. If I’m the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay with them. No question about it. Excellent hosts.
