I had to cancel our reservation because of injury. I did not expect my intial deposit back because we were outside of the cancellation period for the deposit to be refunded. However, we were within the cancellation period for not being charged for the entire stay. We were charged for the entire stay. I called the Rockmere to discuss the matter. The person from the Rockmere would not discuss the matter. As a matter of fact, he hung up on me. He continued to hang up when I called back. This not a place to stay. I have never been treated so rudely by an Innkeeper.
Enough rooms for our party. Very interesting layout, some of the light switches didn't work. Was nice to have a place to crash after visiting the surrounding cities. Not too much to do in Marblehead but cute restaurants around and good food.
