Rock Ridge Resort At Royal Blue

This place is very nice!! The guy that runs it is nice and helpful. We stayed in one of the small cabins (The Last Resort) and it was nice, clean, and comfortable. It is pretty small for the price paid, but for the area and the amenities, it was worth it. The pool is amazing!! So inviting and the water was a comfortable temperature. The kids and adults all enjoyed it! It was great being able to park our truck and sxs right next to our cabin. We never felt like we needed to worry about it. You can drive right to the trails from the resort and that is a huge plus! The downsides are: it’s somewhat hard to catch the guy running it to get anything from the store. Best place at royal blue to stay, if you need a tiny cabin, rv spot, or huge house for a group. We stayed in the Volunteer Landing cabin with 14 people. My only complaints is there is not enough hot water for everyone to take showers after a long day of muddy riding. Needs a new broom and dust pan, as we sweep alot. Needs more towels when there are 14+ people staying. Pots and pans needs to be replaced. Invest in a tank less water heater. We Love staying here, very quite and clean.

Excellent campground, accommodating camp hosts, very family and sxs friendly! Easy access to RRB trails and not far to trails at Tacket Creek. 10'ish miles, all road riding, no trailering. The pool is gorgeous and why we chose to stay here over other local options.

Husband and I stayed in the "last resort" it was the small one with one bedroom. But it has a full bathroom and full kitchen. The AC in this cabin is amazing. We are both hot natured and both of were cold every night in the cabin and that's great for both of us. The general store for this campground has everything you will ever need if you forget something. Also the owner is in the process of installing a pool behind the general store. It is going to be beautiful when it's completed. Oh and the owners are great ppl.

Great place. Beautiful campground that still has trees and woods so it's not just a gravel open lot. The host here is phenomenal. Go to the store before you get here because there are only really small general stores. 20 miles to the nearest grocery store or more. We came in a motor home pulling a 20 some feet enclosed trailer for utvs.
