Comfort Inn at Royal Blue

The towels were hard as sandpaper. So terrible after a long trip and looking forward to a shower and relaxing. The bed sheets were inadequate. They were old and short sheeted to the bed. The mattress was old and mushy. The HOT breakfast was anything but hot. Cold eggs and sausage. After one bite an employee came in and said they had some problems and that people should microwave the food. I advised the front desk as we were leaving but she didn't seem to care.

Had to wait for the front desk staff to come to the desk. There was no bell etc to ring for service. Also we had to leave early before 630 breakfast but did expect coffee to at least be available. Staff said generator was out and therefore no coffee. Didn’t make sense to us. Room was fine. Sofa was badly stained

My family and I stayed at this hotel and were very happy with everything. The lobby was very clean and furnished beautifully. The lady who checked us in was very nice and helpful. I always look at the lobby when entering a hotel. If the lobby is clean and presentable, so should the rooms be.||When we walked in our room I couldn't believe how spacious it was. We had a double bed and a pull-out couch. The bathroom was clean and presentable and had extras of towels, face cloths and soap. The beds were comfortable and not lumpy and bumpy as some beds I've slept in were. Even the pillows were comfortable. Infact, I asked the woman at the desk where they purchased thier pillows from and she said "Oh if we have extras we sell them. We have two different kinds, hard and soft, if we have

I rarely make recommendations to people regarding hotel stays, because everyone has specific needs and tastes. It suited me fine, if that's what you want to know. I will say that the elevator noise in room 217 was quite annoying. When I asked the front desk if I could be moved to a room away from the elevator, I was told there were no more rooms available. Other than that my stay was fine.

Ansley, Amy and Shandle were my house keeping and front desk. They were very kind and helpful. Rooms were very nice and clean. I only seen these two ladies (Amy and Shandle) cleaning this big ole place but they did a wonderful job. They all deserve a raise for an outstanding job. I will be back.
