Roamers Beach RV Resort

So this is a small campground with a really nice man made clean lake. I got a beachfront site (a prime spot the cashier said) and it was beautiful! (Not my normal lingo). I brought my two kids and being Italian, half my family showed up. The staff was really nice to them (of course). This is a Christian campground so no alcohol or acting like morons. They do allow pets just not on the beach or in the lake :(|They do charge for everything but given the fact that actually camping here is so reasonably priced it's no biggie. Overall, I think this is an outstanding place to camp and absolutely recommend it!

I booked the sight a month in advance and nobody mentions that the showers don’t work. I didn’t get a phone call until we had already checked in and paid and the kids were in the lake. This is when they decided to tell me the showers haven’t been working all season because they under renovations. Would have been good to know this prior to staying there. Other then that, nice sights, great view but definitely need updating all around.

Let me start by saying this campground IS on the older side. It’s not going to give you all the amenities that some will offer, but we love the lake!! We have a site (there are many) that sit right on the beach and the kids can just play in the water all day. They even have Sunday church service if you’re interested. It’s pretty quiet and not crowded, so we will definitely be back. Also, WiFi at the campsite is a plus!!!

We wanted to start out the summer season by taking a weekend rv trip. My husband, 15 year old daughter, her friend and I spend 3 days here. We loved it! We had a full hookup, lake front site that was amazing. The kids could just go out the rv door, down a slight hill to a sandy beach and swim all day. Us adults sat around the campfire and just relaxed and watched them swim and have a good time. The campground itself was clean, the camp store well stocked and the staff was extremely helpful and polite. This campground definitely is on our list to visit again.

A note to the new owners... What a shame, closed two years in a row. This used to be a nice campground under the previous owners. I don't know what the new owners are like but they seem to be scared of their own shadow. Afraid to open up unlike EVERY OTHER CAMPGROUND in South Jersey. We love the lake and those sites but they lost our business for good.
