Riverwood Park Campground

I'm traveling by bike through Florida and looking on Google Maps for an option to stay so I can spend a night, not just one night, but rather rest a little because I always continue my trip at one or two in the morning so I can ride my bike at night so I don't get exhausted and looking for options I saw this place, there are good reviews and there are bad reviews, but I arrived at this place and I saw it, the truth is that it is very beautiful, the location is unmatched, privileged, it is beautiful but seeing Camp Brown, the truth is that it is neglected, unfortunately it does not have bathrooms, so if you come in your camper you are going to have to shower and always use it from there, the areas are not well maintained, it needs a little maintenance, that's the truth, some have connection

The campground waterfront sites have a great view. Five star view. The campground otherwise is run down and unkept. Skinny sites, run down in all aspects , potholes and tree limbs. 65.00 dollars per night cash only. The camp office never warned me about tight turns nor did they even tell me how to get to my site. Now I have to go home and buff out the scuff from the tree limb( full body paint) not impressed with the campground

Nice quiet campground with beautiful views. However it is severely run down. Heard that it has been sold?

Beautiful hole in the wall kind of place but great location in the river.

Ok, it was hard for me to give this special place only a 3 star review. The waterfront view was amazing and the wildlife viewing was spectacular! Manatees, birds and dolphins everywhere! Just steps away from our campsite there where manatees eating and congregating. It was a very special experience. Now on to why I gave this campground only 3 stars.... it was in disrepair. The ground were unkept, the concrete pads where crumbling, many of the long term resident sites where unsightly and there was a lack of normal campground facilities. Unfortunate because this place is a diamond in the ruff!
