Riverside Motel

See receipt below. Today is our 48th anniversary. 48 years ago today we stayed in your motel. A bit less expensive back then 😂

Currently closed according to the Visitor's Bureau. I experienced the same issues as other reviews have mentioned when I tried to contact the motel. Parts of the website also seem dysfunctional.

The owner is wonderful, very friendly and accommodating. The view is spectacular and there are several eating places within walking distance. When Judy said the room rate was $50 I was floored because I expected a Motel on a Scenic River View Road to be more expensive. The whole town is in full bloom oh, and the roses are in a variety of beautiful colors. I did have to drive to get coffee though but other than that everything was great beautifully updated and clean rooms.

Judy is such a star. I was in the area for two weeks doing an internship and needed housing. Judy was willing to work with me to arrange a package deal that saved me money and earned her my business. The room was not the most luxurious of course but was very well taken care of by the area’s standards. The room had a fridge with two bottles of water in it and a small freezer compartment. There was a microwave. There is room cleaning every other day, and the staff will deliver packages to the room for you. The bathroom was pretty small. There was the daintiest sink with a gigantic faucet that made the sink difficult to use. The toilet was also questionably small. The shower was great though, with water that heated up quickly. They provide two bars of soap and two cups.

The owners are such amazing people and kind hearted. I was in town for Military duty and they were the best experience I’ve ever had regarding that. The nicest people in hospitality I’ve ever met by far. The rooms were nice, A/C-TV-Full bathroom and great beds. I will stay here for years down the road when I need to. Highly recommend making a stop at this beautiful “Riverside Motel”
